NAKED WARDROBE x BE.
Another insane design timeline but worth the priceless reward of gratitude to witness another vision come to life, beautifully: the commercial offices for fashion brand, Naked Wardrobe.
Sharing some beginning progress pictures down to some of the very detailed finishing touches here in this chic office space today; and this doesn’t even cover it all!
Naked Wardrobe is owned and run by three sisters that grew up in the same part of LA that I represent (Valley Girls!) — despite mutual friends, acquaintances, and business relationships, we never crossed paths until our adult years. I guess that’s just the Universe working it’s magic in the right time, context, and order as it always does, huh? We met when we were supposed to, and during the course of this project, I grew to know and respect each of these business-women in their own unique, individual way — collectively, we were on the same page with a very forward, vision for the time: CONCRETE, MARBLE, and ROSE GOLD.
There are five components to the lower level space worked on:
1: Entry; 2: Reception; 3: Group Work Space; 4: Copy Room; 5: Kitchen
Six major components to the upper level:
1: Hall; 2: Conference Room; 3: Photoshoot Room;
4: CEO Exec Office; 5: President Exec Office; 6: VP Exec Office
5,000 sqft covered in about 3 months.
#SHELFIE: DETAILS, DETAILS, DETAILS
Every single piece for the shelving walls in the three executive offices were carefully curated with aesthetic detail, function, and individual personality in mind for each sister. This is where the love really comes into play; I genuinely get a rush from putting things into their proper place… it takes not only a certain eye but the really the touch — it’s taken me a bit to own this over the years; but as an artist today, I can truly say that when given the trust + artistic freedom to get into my zone and bring the seams together, this is where that magic happens: 100% in the details.
There are FIVE total neon signs in this chic little [big] place!
One pink, four white, all completely fab; custom designed, sized, and perfectly placed into the lower level group work space, conference room, and three executive offices.
White Italian Carrera Marble has officially reached its maximum here with me! — We put it everywhere — even on two of the walls to save on costs a bit in the lower level workspace + conference room (via wallpaper; using white table tops with rose gold bases instead) — but still achieving the desired cohesive design vibe. The gray veining compliments the new concrete flooring throughout (industrial-chic) + how perfect is the white marble it against everything that we customized to rose gold?! — and when I say customized…I mean it; rose gold simply did not exist earlier this year the way it does all over Targét and Jonathan Adler stores today. But that’s the way it usually goes… Everything I envision or see exists in my mind until I find a way to bring it to life — and having a client on board with this is always one up of a dream-come-true — so that we did: one step ahead of the trend curve, we brought the vision to life! #allcustomeverything.
